b&w challenge - day 3

The third day of the challenge and I already struggled with finding a subject. After getting home from a long commute, it was a little after 6 pm with the sunlight almost gone. I got home immediately grabbed my camera and walked to the park behind my place searching for something...anything! Nothing sparked my interest, nada! I gave up and started to walk up the big hill back home, and found this baseball in the woods. Kinda cool, maybe? Having a  ball field in your back yard has some charm; some nights you can hear the crack of the bat and the cheers from the crowd. I've often wanted to sit atop that hill with beer in hand and be a rowdy observer. (Too bad it's little league!) Today I nominate the lovely & creative, Sophia Hitchcock! Post a black and white photo for 5 days and nominate a new person to participate each day.
